El
enfoque experimental del departamento, está muchas veces determinado por los grados y tipos
de discapacidad de sus participantes. Pero además, este enfoque permite poner el
acento en el proceso. Priman el desarrollo de la experiencia sensorial,
como forma de conocer el entorno y como disfrute, la intercomunicación y
la integración. El valor del resultado final reside en todo el proceso.
The experimental approach of the department, is often determined by the degrees and types of disabilities of their participants. Besides, this approach allows to put the emphasis on the process, and prioritizes the development of sensory experience, as a way of knowing the environment and to enjoy, intercommunication and integration. So the outcome´s value is set on the whole process.
Y comienzo por el Circle group!
Lo dirige James Gow, y durante todo el trimestre han estado centrados en explorar las posibilidades plasticas y performaticas del círculo y la esfera.
Planteamiento sencillo como base, que ha permitido a los que trabajaron en este taller experientar con los materiales y las acciones sugeridas a partir de la forma.
Lets start with Circle group!
It is run by James Gow and, during this quarter, they have been focused on the circle and its stylistic posibilities.
Such a basic approach, that lets them to experience with materials and actions, suggested by the circular shape, resulting on a very performatic workshop.
Always, the table will be cover by a big piece of paper, where all actions will have its print on.

Como esta visita
y su reflejo en el blog están siendo un poco atípicos, entre otras cosas por el
tiempo que he tardado en empezar a publicar, he decidido que, en vez de mostrar el día a día en el centro, puede ser
interesante hacer un seguimiento de los proyectos de cada tutor.
As this visit and its reflection on the blog are being a bit unusual, I decided following up to art tutor projects, instead of showing a day to day of the centre. I think it can be interesting this way.

Throwing: paper balls and acrilic paint
Stamping: prints with bottle lids and acrilic on cardboard circles
Dropping lines: elastic bands, paper balls
Throwing: paper balls and rubber bans/elastic bands
Collage: colour papers, circle shape and sissors
Making balls: tissue paper, ink, water
Sculpture: paper balls, wool
